Mountain Plains, LLC is seeking a motivated candidate with superior communication and negotiation skills! This candidate will utilize these skills in delivering a trusted customer experience. Responsibilities:
Research landowner names, property rights, and existing right of way easements
Use negotiating skills for purpose of right of way acquisition from private landowners
Develop/manage relationships with local municipalities, landowners, property developers, etc.
Negotiate cost effective leases, and/or easement agreements with identified property owners
Coordinate with various personnel to ensure sites meet engineering and construction requirements
Clearly communicate the status of projects to all involved parties, including client and leadership
Update and maintain internal and client databases with all project related information
Qualifications:
Must have land acquisition background
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Moderate travel is expected
Valid Driver’s License with clean record
Must pass drug/alcohol screening
Proficient computer & technical skills
Collaborate with Project Managers and all co-workers
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to interpret reports & metrics
