Job Description
  • POSITION SUMMARY

    • The Provider Technical Trainer is a highly skilled and motivated team member, responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for physicians in both hospital and clinic settings. The goal is to ensure that physicians are proficient in using medical technologies, software, and systems essential to delivering high-quality patient care. This is a dynamic position requiring a blend of technical expertise and effective communication skills.

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

      • None
    • Educational Requirements
      • Prefer degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Education, related field or equivalent experience.
    • Experience Requirements
      • Experience in technical training, with a focus on healthcare settings or similar fields. Prefers knowledge of the latest medical technologies and trends in digital health and/or prior experience training physicians or clinical staff in healthcare IT systems.
      • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training programs in a clinical or healthcare environment.
    • Special Skills or Training Requirements
      • Strong understanding of medical systems, electronic health records (EHR), medical devices, and related technologies. Familiarity with the most common healthcare software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) is a plus.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, especially physicians.
      • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to address technical issues and find solutions in a fast-paced environment.
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
      • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
      • Ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously.
      • Patience and adaptability to adjust training techniques to meet diverse learning styles.
      • Empathy and a focus on enhancing physician satisfaction with technology.
      • Ability to travel between hospital and clinic locations as needed.
