Job Description

• POSITION SUMMARY
  
  • Administers medications under the direction of an RN or LPN. Knowledge of medications and their procedures to ensure safe administration. Requires numerical ability and clerical perception. Follows the 5 rights of medication administration to ensure accurate and timely administration of medications.
    
  • 
    May be asked to work as CNA to assist when needed. Employee will be expected to float to any unit to fulfill the needs of the facility.
    
    
• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  
  • Licenses and Certifications Required
    
    • Current North Dakota MedAide II or MedAide III certification
      
    • Current North Dakota CNA certification
      
    • CPR certified
      
  • Educational Requirements
    
    • 
      None
      
      
  • Experience Requirements
    
    • 1-2 years CNA experience preferred, but not required
      
  • Special Skills or Training Requirements
    
    • Must be organized
      
    • Good communication skills
