• POSITION SUMMARY
  
  • Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager and under the supervision of the RN-LPN, the Nursing Assistant provides direct, quality nursing care to patients.
    
  • 
    May perform clerical functions by preparing, compiling, and maintaining records in a nursing unit as directed by Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, Registered Nurse. Maintains adequate inventory of supplies needed for day to day operation of the unit.

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  
  • Licenses and Certifications Required
    
    • Current North Dakota CNA certification required.
      
    • BLS certification required within orientation period.
      
  • Educational Requirements
    
    • Certification required. Clerical training preferred.
      
  • Experience Requirements
    
    • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
      
    • Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
      
  • Special Skills or Training Requirements
    
    • Computer and keyboarding skills.
